A “mixed‑bag” delegation paid a visit to Pavalais’s factory: Academician Xu, former chief expert on electronics and electrical systems at the National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center; the chairman of Solaris (Wuhan) Energy Technology Co., Ltd.; relevant executives from Shanghai Qiyuan Xindongli Technology Co., Ltd.; and representatives of young AI experts from Shenzhen. Pavalais Chairman Mr. Yang and Mr. Lu personally welcomed the group, which spent most of its time on two key activities—examining the intelligent all‑electric tailgate and the autonomous agricultural machinery system.
01 The tailgate industry needs to be redefined.
For years, the logistics loading and unloading process has relied on manual operation of hydraulic tailgates, leading to leaks, noise, and frequent maintenance—issues that become even more problematic when applied to new‑energy delivery vehicles: the added weight eats into range, while oil contamination compromises the quality of temperature‑controlled goods.
From the very beginning of its development, Pavalais eschewed the shortcut of “gasoline‑to‑electric” conversions and instead opted for a pure‑electric servo‑driven design. When the tailgate lowers, kinetic energy recovery feeds power back into the vehicle’s battery; a lightweight design keeps the curb weight among the lowest in the industry. The complete control system supports CAN‑bus integration, seamlessly interfacing with autonomous driving platforms to enable remote, automated lifting, lowering, and locking.

02 In the agricultural machinery sector, we’re working to “let tractors do the work on their own.”
Pavales’ Xinrui Haohan autonomous driving system, powered by its proprietary high-precision electric cylinder actuators, multimodal perception fusion, and Beidou global positioning algorithms, enables fully unmanned operations across the entire agricultural workflow—from seeding and fertilization to crop protection and harvesting. Whether in flat open fields, hilly orchards, or greenhouse facilities, this single system seamlessly adapts to diverse terrains and application scenarios.
From the central controller to the electric steering wheel, and from digital electric cylinders to remote‑control terminals, all core components are independently developed and manufactured in‑house, with no reliance on overseas solutions. With features like one‑button U‑turns, centimeter‑level navigation, and route planning tailored to local conditions, the lowered operational barrier will help alleviate the shortage of rural labor—at least in this particular area.
More importantly, the entire system adopts a lightweight, modular design—enabling both small and large farmers as well as family farms to deploy it at low cost, rather than being accessible only to large-scale operations.

There are still many areas where AI can play a role.
Intelligent scheduling algorithms for tailgate systems and path-planning optimization for autonomous agricultural machinery are scenarios that naturally lend themselves to AI integration, yet the industry’s current implementations remain quite rudimentary. The arrival of the Shenzhen AI team has also highlighted to Paravale’s technical team ample room for further refinement at the algorithmic level.
